Zero balance of drugs for most-frequent male cancer in Gaza

Dr. Talha Ba'lusha, director of haematology and cancer pharmacy in Rantissi Hospital in Gaza, said that all treatment protocols used to treat colon cancer patients in Gaza are currently unavailable. This is in light of the shortage of basic types of medication which make up these protocols.
Dr. Ba'lusha indicated to the shortage of basic types of medication which make up all treatment protocols for colon cancer. This includes the first protocol (folfox 4) and the second protocol (folfiri) and the third protocol (exelixis).
Dr. Ba'lusha warned that the situation of colon cancer patients, which ranks as the most common cancer among males and the second most common cancer among females after breast cancer in Gaza, has become dangerous due to their inability to receive treatment and long procedures which involve transfers outside Gaza.
