Warned of zero balances of medication

The Eye Hospital in Gaza warned of zero balances of medication and medical consumables to diagnose and conduct examinations and operations to eye patients. They indicated that the crisis is threatening basic types of medication upon which hospital medical services completely depend.
Dr. Maha Kahil, eye pharmacist, said: "All types of medication acting as opthalmic dilators for the elderly are at a zero balance or almost out of stock, like atropine, medramide and phenylephrine."
Dr. Kahil explained that a shortage of opthalmic dilators clearly affects the continuation of medical services in the Eye Hospital, because doctors depend on them to conduct medical examinations to diagnose the actual damage to the eye, and for post-op examinations.
