Secretary for the Health Ministry appreciates the efforts and work of the medical crew despite the difficult circumstances
Dr. Yusuf Abu Raysh, secretary for the Health Ministry expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Ministry’s crew in all areas and fields for their exceptional efforts during the recent period, in light of the difficult circumstances and great challenges storming health work in Gaza. This came during his heading of a weekly meeting of the Ministry’s committee for research and discussion of work updates and developments in the Ministry.
Dr. Abu Raysh said: “The continuous work scene of the medical crew and for long hours inside the theatres, intensive care units, emergency units, wards and medical points proves the extent of responsibility which rests on the shoulders of all and the persistence and dedication in providing the greatest effort to dress the wounds of the people despite the scarce resources.”
He also expressed his thanks and appreciation to all the medical delegations which have come to Gaza and joined their colleagues by alleviating the burden of work and dealing with a large number of injuries. He added: “Perhaps the witness of those delegations to the extent of excellence and high output of our crews in various situations will be a great testimony which will be transferred to their workplaces and countries. Our medical crews have a great degree of giving which increases during emergency and exceptional circumstances.”
He indicated that the injured are still in dire need of following up treatment due to the difficulty of injuries. He offered his thanks and recognition to the countries who answered the call of the Health Ministry in transferring injured patients, especially Egypt and Jordan. He praised the role of Jordan Field Hospital in making arrangements for the transfer of twenty-nine injured to complete their treatment in Jordan’s capital, Amman.
