Partners for Medical Aid - South Africa (PIMA) attends the 16th stage of the Kindney Transplant Programme

On Tuesday 9th January 2018, Dr Abdul Qadir Hammad, an organ transplant consultant in Liverpool University Hospital, arrived Gaza strip to conduct four kidney transplant operations on patients in Shifā hospital. This is part of the 16th stage of the Kindney Transplant Programme which is funded and supervised by PIMA-South Africa. Worthy of mention is that PIMA-South Africa in conjunction with the University of Liverpool delegation, headed by Dr Abdul Qadir Hammad, undertook forty two kidney transplant operations during a period of four years (2013-2017).
